The poultry slaughterhouse process is the sequence of operations that transforms live birds into chilled, ready-to-market carcasses. At Zhucheng Stantham Industry & Trade Co., Ltd., we design equipment and layout configurations that optimize every stage of this process for efficiency, food safety, and product quality. All equipment is manufactured in our own factory in Zhucheng, Shandong, using 304 stainless steel from TISCO with nickel content verified by German SPECTRO analysis. The standard poultry slaughterhouse process begins with live bird receiving and hanging. Birds are then conveyed to an electric stunning tunnel that renders them unconscious humanely, followed by automated killing and bleeding. The bleeding stage typically lasts 90 to 180 seconds, depending on regulatory requirements. Next, birds enter the scalding stage where they pass through a counterflow hot water tank that loosens feathers without damaging skin. Plucking machines with soft rubber fingers then remove feathers completely. The evisceration stage follows, where internal organs are removed and inspected on an overhead conveyor system with ergonomic workstations. After evisceration, carcasses are washed and enter a chilling system that rapidly reduces core temperature below 4 degrees Celsius. Optional final stages include automatic weighing, grading, and packaging. We design the process layout to ensure unidirectional product flow from dirty to clean zones, with physical barriers between stages. The process is controlled through centralized panels that allow operators to adjust line speed, temperatures, and other parameters.
